I am very pleased to say that, with the very dedicated effort of my teachers and also by the hard work that each and every student of this college put forwarded, has paved this institution to reach new heights of success and admiration. We had always tried to impart the best education. We strived to work hard at this college in order to make a student’s life better.
The Institution was established way back in the year 1999 and from those years onwards this very college had tried to work for the Students. My teachers are the backbone of the institution. And my Students are those who by their supreme devotion to the college and also to their studies had enabled to keep this institution in its position.
I believe that a student should be a good man and that it should be his/her foremost aspiration. To be successful can be secondary but a student must develop its self, morally.
We at this college try to nurture every bit of a student and we endeavor to bring out the best in themselves.

Sankardev Junior College, has been a prominent and pioneer Junior College in Hojai District and adjoining Karbi Anglong district since a long time and it too has a strong presence in the academic scenario of Assam.
Sankardev Junior College was established on 9th August 1999 as a co-educational centre distributing the most gifted wealth of education through English and Assamese mediums of instruction. Since its inception, this College has always remained faithful to the hopes and aspirations of the people of this locality.
From its very inception Sankardev Junior College has been guided by the concepts of excellence and co-curricular aspects of students’ life under the able guidance of dedicated teachers.
This college started with only 9 (Nine) students on the historic day of the 9th August 1999 and is now an excellent model institution committed to imparting high-quality education for its students.
Significantly, the college enjoys the reputation of being a genuinely cosmopolitan institution of learning. This institution aims at promoting the cause of education and thereby contributing significantly to the needs of the society through a team of qualified, experienced and efficient faculties. Eventually with time Sankardev Junior College has been transformed into Sankardev Senior Secondary School and a dedicated English medium school wing has been added to its Higher Secondary section of Arts, Commerce and Science.
